Clinical Supervision

In addition to mental health treatment, we offer supervision hours to current ACSW's whom are dedicated to becoming an LCSW. Our goal is to provide comprehensive supervision and share our experiences as social workers to help assist an ACSW pass their exams to become an LCSW.  Our clinicians have a wide range of experience from Correctional Mental Health, Emergency Room Psychological Evaluations, Child Protective Services, Private Practice, and Hospital Social Work.  Inquire below if you are looking for an ACSW supervisor.

Puzzles Counseling offers individual psychotherapy by utilizing theoretical frameworks that have been researched and identified as best practices.  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfullness, Strengths-Based, Attachment Theory, Family Systems Therapy, Psychosocial Develop, and other frameworks that have shown to be best practices in helping individuals accomplish their mental health goals.  

After being referred from Kaiser, a clinician will reach out and confirm the scheduled Telehealth appointment.  We will send a link for the initial appointment and your clinician will review a few forms before treatment commences (i.e., Limits of Confidentiality, Limitation of Treatment, Consent for Treatment, Consent for Telehealth, etc).  Your clinician will then administer the "Kaiser Mental Health Questionnaire" and begin a brief history statement.  You will express what you are looking for in treatment and what symptoms you are wanting to receive help with.  The initial session is 50 minutes and a regular scheduled weekly session will be discussed.  

Puzzles Counseling offers clinical supervision for those ACSW's looking gain hours.  Once placed with a clinical supervisor, you will decide on a weekly time slot for supervision.  The ACSW will be required to fill out all forms required by the BBS and present to the LCSW supervisor for signature.  Supervision can be done in person or over zoom.  Pricing will be $150/week for 1:1 supervision and $100/week for Triadic Supervision.  Inquire today about availability! 

Puzzles Counseling is and will always be a small group practice aimed at helping clinicians gain the confidence of starting a private practice.  It is a very complex and intimidating part of our profession that a lot of LCSWs want to pursure but are unsure where to start or how to do it.  We are offering all the support, advice, and encourage to help clinicians get on their feet to start a private practice as we have started from ground zero with little to no help or direction.  With our direction, we can help LCSWs see that working for themselves is an excellent way to create more independence as a clinician and grow their skill set as a therapist.  Send us a message today and lets chat about your goals in private practice!
